EcoNexus® provides guaranteed energy savings for Commercial, Industrial and Municipal buildings. EcoNexus® is a sub-meter level, integrated hardware and software as a service (SaaS) solution for commercial, industrial and governmental building owners/managers to measure, monitor and improve their energy efficiency and environmental impact. The service identifies energy efficiency problems, rectifies the problems by working with customer and verifies the results to provide guaranteed energy savings.

Identify & reduce energy costs
To truly reduce the electric bill, you need to know when and more importantly where you are using electricity. EcoNexus® EIM does this down to the individual circuit (electrical breaker) level. This level of granularity helps identify the energy culprit i.e. lighting circuit, HVAC system, chiller, pump etc. Users can analyze the data, drill-down and generate reports to showcase problems.
Real-time feedback, Alerts & Demand Response
EcoNexus® EIM is a real-time monitoring system. The impact of control / re-commissioning changes made to mechanical systems can be verified in real time. Alerts can be configured to be generated when utilization hit certain thresholds. Buildings can participate in Demand Response programs with validity. No more guessing on energy reduction.
LEED® certification
EcoNexus® EIM facilitates your ability to earn Measurement and Verification and Innovation in Design credits toward the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED® certification for LEED® for New Construction, LEED® for Commercial Interiors, LEED® for Existing Buildings Operations & Maintenance and LEED® for Core & Shell. It can also assist with the pre-requisite of ASHRAE level 1 audit and Performance Measurement related credits.
Billing for tenants, departments or PPA
Tenants in multi-tenant buildings without sub-metering typically pay for energy usage based off of square footage. Shared common area maintenance lighting or HVAC and shared circuits require a means to fairly bill tenants based upon energy usage. EcoNexus® EIM can generate bills to account for all these issues. Besides the hard dollar costs for energy utilization, the bill also shows the environmental impact and the carbon offsets required to become net zero.
Increase eco-friendly business image
EcoNexus® EIM provides a Google Earth interface to showcase energy utilization. This information can be used by corporations in their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reports.
Real-time display over the web
The fully automated data collection, processing and storage at EcoNexus®’ off-site data center eliminate the need for on-site software installation / maintenance and server hardware. EcoNexus® EIM is provisioned in Software as a Service (SaaS) model. Any web-enabled device including personal computers, laptops/notebooks, widescreen monitors or interactive touch-screen kiosks can access EcoNexus® EIM.
Monitor renewable energy generation
EcoNexus® EIM can monitor the power generated by solar panels. The energy usage bill generated accounts for renewable energy in terms of dollars costs and carbon offsets.
