EcoNexus® provides a sub-meter level hardware and web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for commercial, industrial and municipal building owners & managers to measure, monitor and improve their energy efficiency and environmental impact. The solution provides a standard method for measuring and characterizing energy performance of buildings.
EcoNexus® determines energy consumption, energy demand, and on-site energy production in existing buildings at sub-meter level. The performance metrics generated may be compared against benchmarks to evaluate performance and verify that performance targets have been achieved. Uses may include:
The solution yields time-series results, in addition to monthly and annual results. The results are itemized by type of end use, based on sub-metering and a data acquisition system (DAS). The time-series results help determine seasonal trends and annual totals. Since the solution monitors at the sub-meter level, it can identify problems much faster, more accurately and provide more granular information than analyzing monthly utility bills.
